How zero fee processing actually works
Your shelf or menu price becomes the card price, and cash customers receive a disclosed discount at the register. The service fee shown on the card side covers interchange, assessments, and processor costs. Because the fee is collected at the point of sale instead of withheld from your deposit, your effective processing cost drops to zero. Terminals calculate both prices automatically, receipts itemize them, and required signage is provided so customers understand the pricing before they choose.
- Cash price and card price are displayed and printed on receipts
- Terminals and POS stations are programmed for dual pricing before delivery
- Compliant counter and door signage is included
- You are funded on the full sale amount, with no fees deducted from the batch
