Who we are
Tasskel Pay is the merchant services and payments division of Tasskel LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company based in Asheville. Tasskel LLC is the data controller for information described in this policy. Where card processing is delivered through sponsoring member banks and processing partners, those partners handle cardholder data under their own agreements and network rules.
Information we collect
Business information you submit in the merchant application: legal and DBA name, address, tax ID, business type, ownership structure, and processing history
Personal information about owners and signers: name, title, ownership percentage, date of birth, government identifier, and contact details, used for identity verification and underwriting
Banking and settlement details such as routing and account numbers for funding your deposits
Account and support records: correspondence, phone notes, equipment and program configuration, and service requests
Business data you or your team enter into the Tasskel business suite, including contacts, customers, invoices, documents, messages, and workflow records
Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, referring pages, and pages visited
Aggregate analytics collected through Google Analytics
How we use information
To underwrite, approve, board, and service a merchant account
To verify identity and satisfy Know Your Customer, anti-money-laundering, and card network requirements
To configure terminals, gateway, cash discount program settings, and Tasskel suite access
To fund settlements, research chargebacks, and resolve billing questions
To respond to inquiries, provide support, and send service and account notices
To operate, secure, and improve this site and the Tasskel platform
To send program updates or offers where permitted; you can opt out of marketing at any time
How we share information
We share information only as needed to deliver the service or to meet legal obligations: with sponsoring banks, processors, gateways, and underwriting or risk partners involved in your merchant account; with vendors that host, secure, or support this site and the Tasskel suite under confidentiality obligations; with equipment and shipping providers to deliver hardware; with professional advisors; and with regulators, card networks, or law enforcement where required or permitted by law. If Tasskel LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, account records may transfer as part of that transaction. Tasskel Pay does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your business data in the Tasskel suite
Data your business enters into the included Tasskel modules belongs to your business. We process it on your behalf to operate the platform, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal requirements. We do not use your customer records to market to your customers. You may request an export or deletion of your workspace data, subject to records we must retain for financial and compliance purposes.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses strictly necessary cookies for session handling and form security, and Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; core pages and the application will continue to work. We honor browser-level Global Privacy Control signals where they are received.
Data retention
Applications, merchant account records, and transaction records are retained for the life of the relationship and afterward for the period required by financial recordkeeping, tax, and card network rules — generally at least five years after account closure. Declined or abandoned applications are retained for a limited period for fraud prevention and audit purposes, then deleted. Suite workspace data is retained while your account is active and for a short wind-down window after closure.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Application submissions are stored in access-controlled systems, and access is limited to authorized Tasskel Pay personnel who need it to underwrite or service accounts. Sensitive identifiers are masked in day-to-day views. Card data is handled by PCI DSS validated terminals, gateways, and processors rather than stored by Tasskel Pay. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident affects your information we will notify you as required by law.
Your rights and choices
You may request access to the information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where we are not required to retain it, a copy in a portable format, or that we stop sending marketing. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to appeal a decision about your request or to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Call (828) 600-4775, email mail@tasskel.com, or use the contact form; we verify requests before acting and respond within the period required by applicable law.
Children and jurisdiction
Tasskel Pay serves businesses, not consumers, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Our services are offered in the United States, and information is processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or the law change and revise the date above. Material changes affecting active merchants are communicated by email or through your account.
